Letter to Whanau!

Dear Whanau:

This year we have some new students in Whetu! Half of us are year sixes and we have some year fives that were year fours last year. We have been doing a lot of fun activities  and It has been a great school year already, we started an art rotation each teacher ran a different art task and we moved around in homerooms and completed our art. There was mirroring, art book covers and we had to make a pastel art about us.We still go swimming to practice since swimming sports is coming up and we also get free time. We are also working on naming our spaces and together as a class we designed a new tikanga that we all want to work on. I almost forgot that we have a bee theme going on in our classroom! The whiteboards have a new bee border, our rubbish bins are now a hive and last year we had avatars but now we have bee's and we have a photo of ourselves in the middle.

This is my Brainiacs logo.

I chose these colours because most bee's are yellow and black and I wanted to make a sky for the bee to fly around. The easiest part was making the sky the trickiest part was the bee because I had to think of different shapes I could use.

How school has been so far!

First days back at school!

These first days of school have been going great we have some new students in our school and year fours coming in as year fives I am also now a year six! We are starting some new art and it's very cool we also did some water activities! 

I also designed a new avatar!
